Traveling to Serre Chevalier by Plane, Train and other Methods

When planning your journey to Serre Chevalier, it can sometimes feel quite daunting due to its high mountain location. Serre Chevalier however can be very easily accessed by various methods of transport:

Flying

Serre Chevalier can be accessed from the UK through Turin (Italy) and Grenoble (France) airports. Serre Chevalier can also be accessed from Milan (Italy) airport but is located slightly further away. From each airport, trains and buses can be used to get you directly to Briancon, however we would be more than happy to provide you with transfers. Car hire is also available at all airports.

Driving

Serre Chevalier is approximately 12 hours drive from Calais. For detailed instructions, please use the tool on the driving page. All of our properties have private parking and snow chains and winter tyres are recommended throughout the winter season.

Train

The Eurostar offers a service between the UK and Paris, and the resort is connected by a direct night train travelling between Paris Austerlitz and Briancon. The daily overnight train leaves Paris at 10.30pm and arrives in Briancon at 8.37am. Alternatively, a fast TGV train also leaves from Paris and travels to Milan via Oulx, which is only 30km away from Serre Chevalier. This train only takes five and a half hours and we would be more than happy to pick you from either Oulx or Briancon train stations.

Choose the travel method which is right for you and remember we are here should you require any travel assistance before or during your stay.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
