A great attraction to Serre Chevalier is the (natural) Biological swimming lake ‘Biotope Colombiers’. Bio-swimming lakes are a fairly new concept in France and ‘Biotope Colombiers’ is the 5th bio-swimming lake to be built in the country.

Bastille Day 2017

This summer if you are staying in a Chalet in Serre Chevalier you will not want to miss the festivities that take place on the 14th July. On the 14th July this year the whole of France will join together to celebrate the history and culture of France. Bastille Day is a bank holiday in France which has happened every year for the last 132 years. Amazing Firework displays can be seen all over the valley.

Briançon is located in the valley of Serre Chevalier. Holidays here are great as Briançon not only has a rich history of art, politics and culture, but also benefits from an average of 300 days of sunshine per year.
